What are edelweiss veneers?

What are edelweiss VENEERs?

edelweiss VENEERs are affordable, highly aesthetic, long lasting, laser sintered, non- staining, 10 year tested Veneers

This is a picture of the European manager at edelweiss dentistry in Austria.
As you can see, his teeth were in bad shape prior to having edelweiss VENEERs.
Eight years later, and they are still beautiful and white, despite him being a smoker and red wine drinker.

When you choose edelweiss VENEERs, you can be confident that thousands of people have chosen them before you.

Aren't all veneers the same?

That’s like asking are all shoes the same and the answer is no. There are many different types and techniques.
What makes edelweiss VENEERs different?
edelweiss VENEERs are different in that they are as similar to the natural tooth as is possible, making them strong but having the same flexural string as natural teeth.  This means that unlike ceramic, which has no flexibility, they are harder to break.
What is a veneer?
A veneer is a very thin shell which fits over your tooth.  In most cases the veneer has to be attached to teeth which have been cut to accept them.
This means you will have to have an injection and impressions done and your teeth are irreparably damaged.
The beauty of the edelweiss veneer system is that it is minimal invasive. What this means is that the tooth surface just needs to be cleaned prior to attaching the veneer.
Hence minimal invasive.
What about colour?
The beauty of the edelweiss VENEERs is that the colour can be selected to match your existing teeth, or whiter shades can be used to give you a 'Love Island' bleached effect.
Permanent bleaching
If you choose to have veneers to give you a beautiful white smile, the whiteness will be permanent.  This means there is no need for quarterly bleaching sessions and no chemicals.  Your veneers will remain the same colour as when they started as they are non-staining.

How do edelweiss VENEERs work?

The dentist will match the veneer to your size of tooth.  Then he will clean the surface of your tooth, to improve adhesion of the veneer.  The colour is inserted into the back of the veneer before it is stuck on to your tooth.  If it is only one tooth, he will colour match it to your existing teeth.  If you are having a complete set of veneers, you will be able to choose a lighter shade to give you a brighter, whiter smile.
How long does it take?
Usually, edelweiss veneers take between 15 and 20 minutes to fit, so in the case of six front teeth, you could be looking at about two hours for a beautiful new smile.*
*Your teeth need to be cavity free prior to edelweiss veneers being fitted and the time to deal with any cavities is not included in the times quoted above.
Are edelweiss veneers suitable for you?
Your treatment will be assessed by the dentist, and in some cases they may think that veneers are not suitable for you.  They would be able to explain the reasons to you.
What is the cost?
Each dental practice has its own pricing structure. The price of edelweiss VENEERs is usually between the cost of a conventional composite build up and a ceramic veneer. This makes edelweiss an excellent value for money solution for your new smile.
How long do edelweiss veneers last?
The beauty of edelweiss VENEERs is not only are they minimally invasive, painless and quick to fit, they last.  They are not as rigid as ceramic veneers, so they flex like natural tooth, meaning they are less likely to crack or fracture.  At the top of the page is Nico, who has had his veneers for eight years and he is a smoker, a red wine drinker and a bruxer (someone who grinds their teeth) and yet his veneers are intact and stain free.
